What does Success mean to you?
I was asked recently about what does success mean to me?
I had to take a step back and really think about how this version of me would answer that question.
As we age, those parts of ourselves evolve into creatures that are seemingly unfamilar. I honestly always wanted to be well known, well love and respected. The financial piece of success was easily defined back in my twenties as wealthy. I wanted to make a lot of money. That was success to me.
But life doesn't always follow "our plan" and those life goals change without expectation.
Dana as a 54 year old badass of a mom, wife, friend and business owner.. (yes! I said it) . She views success like this..
She would love to be independently wealthy so that she could lean into her servant heart and act as a benefactor to those in her community that are most deserving.
She would be happy to be financially sound tho.
She would be well known and loved not for what she can "do" but for who she is at the core of her person.
She would have leaned into the gifts that God has given her to not only be a strong role model for her children but for those around her.
She would show up for herself everyday but would also give grace when she most deserved it.
She would live in the present and not the past.
She would be strong in her values.
She would love unconditionally and not judge.
She would have 1,000 subscribers in her business.
She would be faithful in her committment to be a Christ follower.
She would be.....
How do you define success? I am challenging you to sit down and really think about success not only financially but emotionally.. physically.. what does that look like for you?
